However, exercise is not only to be and to stay healthy. Exercise is also for other purposes other than just health. Exercises are also to increase strength in certain areas of a person's body. Weaker muscles can be, built up, by exercising. There are also, exercises to increase vertical leap, and exercise to make you perform better at other things and greatly improve any body. Here we will take the example exercise to increase vertical leap. This type of exercise builds up the leg muscles a person uses to leap into the air. This is most often in the game of basketball, volleyball, and any other sport that requires a person to leap into the air. Exercises to increase vertical leap must target a group of muscles known as the flexor muscles in the legs, calves and the feet. All of these muscles allow a person to leap vertically into the air. Therefore, examples of this would be for instance a person were, going to dunk a basketball. On the other hand, a person has to leap to reach over the volleyball net. Basketball goals and volleyball nets are extremely high up. Therefore, a person would need to leap very high up into the air to reach either of these. There are, many other exercises that trainers use to build and strengthen; the flexor muscles in the legs as well. Jumping rapidly and repeatedly on and off of a step as well as walking, jogging, and running up a set of steps will build up and tone leg muscles these are all types of excellent exercises to increase vertical leap. However, you must know that you need to concentrate on only the muscles in the legs that you use to leap. If you do not you are wasting valuable time that you could be spending on the goal you have set for yourself to accomplish.
